GreenDoor gives you two ways to prepare documents for signing, depending on how much control you need over field placement.
Upload your document and GreenDoor automatically places signature, date, and initial fields based on common real estate document layouts. Add signers with their name and email, set a signing order if needed, and send. Best for standard contracts and disclosures where you just need the basics signed quickly.
For documents that need precise field placement, GreenDoor opens a full embedded editor powered by BoldSign. Drag and drop signature fields, text fields, checkboxes, date fields, and initials anywhere on the document. Assign each field to a specific signer. Preview the document exactly as your client will see it before sending. Ideal for custom agreements, addendums, and non-standard forms.
E-signatures in GreenDoor aren't a separate module you have to navigate to. You send documents from the Files tab on a client's detail page, right where you already manage their contracts and disclosures.
Select a document from the client's uploaded files (or upload a new one), choose your signing workflow, add signers, and send. The envelope status appears in the client's activity feed and file list so you never lose track of what's been sent, what's pending, and what's completed.
GreenDoor uses BoldSign's webhook system to get real-time notifications when a signer views, signs, or declines a document. As soon as all parties have signed, GreenDoor automatically updates the envelope status in your CRM.
You'll see a notification in your activity feed the moment a document is completed, so you can take the next step immediately — whether that's submitting an offer, scheduling an inspection, or moving the client to the next stage.
When a document is fully signed, GreenDoor automatically downloads the completed PDF and saves it to the client's Files tab. No manual downloading, no hunting through email for the final version, no re-uploading to your CRM.
